Heat insulation of mirror of metal melt
Perlite is used as a component of perlite graphite mixes, which are used for heat insulation of mirror of metal melt. It allows to save melt in the liquid state, and, consequently, to improve quality of founding (slag goes to positive part). The use in such mixtures of graphite allows to promote the temperature of melting of insulation layer and prevent melting and its transition in fusion. Perlite graphite mixes are packed in paper sacks. After that they are pelt on the mirror of fusion. Such sacks burn when they touch to fire and mix is going on the mirror of fusion. Such way all admixtures and slags, which are present in metal, pass to profitable part, improving quality of parent metal.

Founding mixes
Addition of porous perlite reduces the density of Founding mixes and diminishes heat conductivity. Founding mixes, got from such mixtures, allow to increase the output of suitable metal, promote quality of foundings due to the increase of time of output of admixtures in profitable part.
