Perlite in cryogenic industry
- Non vacuum heat insulation of cryogenic blocks
- Vacuum heat insulation of cryogenic blocks
Application: By virtue of the unique properties perle heat isolation applies in cryogenic and low temperature reservoirs-depositories, in ship containers, refrigeration, tester chambers and technologies of production of food products.
Technology: There are two basic structural conceptions of vessels for low temperature and cryogenic saving: non vacuum and vacuum cryogenic blocks. Temperature from -100°C to +4°C is considered low. Perlite insulation, which is used in non vacuum blocks, at cryogenic or low temperatures, has low thermal conductivity in all range of its density. Temperature -100°C and below is considered cryogenic. Vacuum perlite is used for such type of insulation. Usually vacuum perlit is applied in the dual stage spherical depositories of helium, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, when there is a need of low heat insulation. Heat insulation of vacuum perlite is lower than non vacuum one.
