How you can use perlite to heat-insulate the walls

Practical tips on how to use perlite for wall thermal insulation  Such wall should be filled up by perlite

If you need to keep the heat inside your home and to protect the house from the outside cold perlite is the material that you need. To achieve all these purposes, you will need to fill it in the cavities between the walls. You can pour the perlite insulation straight from the packing sack (or through the bin) in the wall from above at any convention interval (but not to exceed 6 m). By the time you start installing the window sills all the cavities under door and window apertures should be already filled in. If necessary you can pour some perlite, wait until it settles and then pour up to the level again. All openings that might be in the wall and through which perlite insulation can spill out should be closed by the time you start filling out the insulation. For water drain pipes you can use copper, galvanized steel and glass fiber. Pay attention to keeping perlite insulation dry.

The perlite fill of space between the bearing brickwork and face work should be poured in layers after 3-4 rows of bricks have been laid. To avoid settlement, the fill-out layer should be about 10% higher than the specified surface. At insulation interruptions the damp-proof gaskets should be located. If the need is, the insulation layer can be made of any thickness. Since the construction is a lengthy process the spaces between the walls should be protected from rain when working with perlite insulation.

Thanks to its high heat-resistant properties Circulite does not age and is not destroyed by animals or plants. It should be noted that the perlite fills are equally used to insulate walls made of wooden and frame structures. Such insulation linings do not burn and therefore augment considerably the buildings’ fire resistance properties.
