The filling compound for dry soluble mixes is perlite.
The perlite plaster mixtures are used to improve thermotechnical, sound-proofing and acoustic properties in structures (walls, partitions) that enclose resident and industrial premises; cellars, as well as brick, concrete, reinforced concrete, expanded-clay concrete and other structures. Hardening of mixtures is occurring in natural conditions.
Advantages of perlite dry mixtures using
Perlite gry mixtures are made by mechanical interfusion cement or gypsum astringent with modifying polymeric additions and expanded perlite. It is possible to add mineral stuffs and pigments. Part of expanded perlite in dry mixtures is 1-25% on mass. The density of perlite solutions in the dry state is assumed from 400 to 900 kg/m3, boundary of stability when compressed – 0,8-4,0 Mpa; heat conductivity at (25,5) 0Ñ – 0,08-0,20 Vt/(mk).

Heat-insulating mixes. Method of application
The plaster can be applied on bricks, concrete, slag concrete, metallic meshing, wood. Without any auxiliary works you can either paint it or cover it with wall paper; it can be used to insulate both heated and unheated premises.
Light Circulite-based conservation mixes are quite popular in construction business. Dry-mixed with gypsum or cement such mixtures are blended with water directly on the site and used immediately after that. Such light construction mixes are good at filling out spaces in walls, blocks and bricks. They can also be used to trowel seams and cracks.
Most frequently such mixtures are used to build structures of light bricks or foamed concrete, whose properties by their thermotechnical parameters are close to those of the mixture. Besides the brickwork made on the basis if these mixtures does not have cold joints.
Perlite cement mixture is used for internal and outward works, perlit gypsum is used only for internal works. The layer of perlite plasters can be from 20 to 50 mm, laying solutions - 10-15mm, putties are 3-5 mm.

Interesting
According to statistical data the use of similar plaster mixes within private and public buildings in Scandinavian and West European countries makes it possible to cut down heat consumptions associated with gas heating up to 1.2 - 1.5 m2 per 1 m of the wall per year, which equals to 15 large capacity (50l) gas cylinders for houses with 100 m2 of walls.
